Membership at The Cut is about being part of a community and we pride ourselves on having one of the best clubhouses in WA hosting an array of social events thought the year.
Members can enjoy a calendar packed with competitions from club championships to social golfing events.
For many club golfers’ the highlight of their year is club pennants, an event providing the opportunity to represent The Cut against neighbouring clubs in a team environment.
Several club competitions act as local qualifiers with the winner going on to represent The Cut in a regional event against other clubs. One qualifier is the Holden Scramble, a popular Pro-Am team event run by the PGA of Australia.
Another feature on the club calendar is the traditional Honour Board event. Accompanying grade competitions for players with higher handicaps, means golfers of all abilities are given the chance to shine and write their name into club history.
The President’s Cup is another of the major events. It features golf with a shotgun start and is followed by a buffet dinner and presentation of trophies.

How to Join
Choose from our range of flexible membership options including categories for juniors, families, men and women. Lifestyle membership packages are also available for FIFO workers and holiday makers and start from $850.
It’s easy to become a member. Simply contact Membership and Administration Manager, Neill Davey, on 08 9582 4444 or email membership@the-cut.com.au for a copy of our latest fee schedule and an application form.
Upon application, we will arrange an introductory round with our Members Inductee Ian Shortland-Jones who will guide you around the course, providing advice on how best to tackle each hole as well as introduce you to members of similar ability and help you engage with them socially. He can also assist you with gaining a Golflink handicap and eligibility to play in our weekly club competition.
About membership:
- Membership is valid for each calendar year.
- Fees are calculated on a monthly pro rata therefore if you join in April you will only be charged for the remaining nine-month period
- Walking options are available with casual cart hire available (as listed in hire items on our rates and bookings
- You can sign up for discounted annual cart hire, available with select membership categories. This option will provide you with unlimited access to a motorised cart every time you play.
