Membership at The Cut is about being part of a community and we pride ourselves on having one of the best clubhouses in WA hosting an array of social events thought the year.
Members can enjoy a calendar packed with competitions from club championships to social golfing events.
For many club golfers’ the highlight of their year is club pennants, an event providing the opportunity to represent The Cut against neighbouring clubs in a team environment.
Several club competitions act as local qualifiers with the winner going on to represent The Cut in a regional event against other clubs. One qualifier is the Holden Scramble, a popular Pro-Am team event run by the PGA of Australia.
Another feature on the club calendar is the traditional Honour Board event. Accompanying grade competitions for players with higher handicaps, means golfers of all abilities are given the chance to shine and write their name into club history.
The President’s Cup is another of the major events. It features golf with a shotgun start and is followed by a buffet dinner and presentation of trophies.

Upon application, we will arrange an introductory round with our Members Inductee Ian Shortland-Jones who will guide you around the course, providing advice on how best to tackle each hole as well as introduce you to members of similar ability and help you engage with them socially. He can also assist you with gaining a Golflink handicap and eligibility to play in our weekly club competition.
